Engineered by James Catherine in Melbourne and mixed in the UK by Tom McFall (Stars, REM, Weezer, Bloc Party, Editors) Doing Fine is dream pop: Washed out vocal harmonies, surf guitar tones and soft hypnotic violin. It builds from a lonely chime to bright technicolour and then fades leaving everything clean, smelling like fresh laundry and rain.
